My Year Of Being A High School Student - 862 Words

Absegami High School, this is where I am spending my years of being a high school student. I have been working hard as a student, a teammate, and an assistant. It is crazy how within these flying three years of being a high school student, I have achieved many of my passions. Some of them include being a captain of the school and club swim team, teaching toddlers how to swim and assisting children that are in the progress of learning English. Ultimately, I have sustained an ethical character that will help others and make them feel comfortable to their surroundings. As a little kid, I have always told myself I would one day attend New York University. Every day I wake up motivating myself to do well in school. Day by day, I realize I get closer and closer to achieving my dream. I study the material I have learned every day after school;I believe this will help me acquire my goal. Currently, my GPA is an average of 92.8. This is, in my eyes, a satisfying grade, but I know I can do better. As a hardworking student, I have to balance my school work with my swim practice and other extracurricular activities. In addition to being a good student, I would hate to see my other fellow classmates struggle in school. A couple of times a week I help other students with homework. When I see students not trying their best, I encourage them to reach their full potential. This leads to my leadership role. Leadership. This is something not everyone can just wake up having.
